"Rising from the ashes"

Our History

The founder Samantha Robinson has experienced both personal and professional life changing challenges. These range from; battling weight issues, joint problems, pregnancy related back and pelvic pain and battling Breast Cancer.

This inspired our founder to form Phoenix Sports Injuries 'Rising from the Ashes' and make it her personal mission to help others that may have felt isolated after surgery without support. At Phoenix we help you overcome knock back's from any related situation and help you realise that you do not have to let it affect your life goals.

During Samantha's treatment for Breast Cancer she noticed her stamina was lacking in every day tasks, such as being able to look after a 2 year old child whilst pregnant. She started doing light exercise, following the strict medical guidelines associated with Chemotherapy. This made it very difficult at times to be able to follow a day to day fitness program, for example not being allowed to swim. After a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery, she found it difficult completing simple task, such as picking up her newborn child. During her recovery period she was only given a booklet of exercise and seen a total of two times by the physiotherapist whilst in the hospitals care. The physiotherapist resources are stretched to the point where people feel like they are being left behind and not getting back to pre-operation abilities.

Doctors are referring more and more patients everyday for exercise, and whilst most people don't like the idea of going to the gym, this is where Phoenix Sports Injuries can help. We can assist you in the comfort of your own home.

Samantha is qualified in a number of disciplines and can provide the best care and support during your journey towards achieving your desired outcome.
